Love is in the Air...

... and on my craft table!  Here are a couple of little cards I made up on Tuesday before my girls came home from school:

The first one I made using the Hearts a Flutter stamp and framelit set and some More Amore DSP

This one is also using the Hearts a Flutter bundle as well as the Valentine promotion, labels framelits and the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.

What I am really linking right now is how fast I can pull out some paper and this stamp and framelit bundle and whip up a quick cute card.  I've been on a valentine kick lately and I think I'm going to use all these cards to send out to my girlfriends in the mail.  Who wouldn't like that?!

Give a little love

As promised, here are two valentines I made with my girlfriends this weekend.  We had an impromptu girls' night complete with cheesy poofs, wine, and crafting (though, not together... well, the wine and crafting went together ;)

Here's what we came up with :

Cute and simple right?  These are made using the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and framelets.  The top card is using the new Vine Street embossing folder that's available for FREE!!!! through Sale-A-Bration  and the embossing on the bottom card is my new favorite Honeycomb embossing folder.  I am seriously using this on everything!  Also note my obsession with twine ;)

I'm having a really good time pinning valentine ideas over on Pinterest and I think I might just make a bunch and send them out to girlfriends and family.  Who doesn't like mail?  If you want to follow my boards, I'm on Pinterest as Jeannethequeen :)

Better late than never

Off to see some friends today that we were supposed to see over the holidays, but due to rampant illness and just general malaise, we're just getting there now.  As you may have guessed, I made some cute little gifts to bring with us.

The first is a little jar of hot cocoa mix with mini marshmallows.  it's in an 'upcycled' jelly jar, but looks way fancier now:

Next I have a cute little stack of note cards.  Who can't use a last minute birthday or thank you card?

And finally, I have something large and wrapped for the kiddies... I'm not telling what is in the package, but it's something super fun to jump on that is not a sofa ;)

I also finally gave out some Christmas cookies that had been hiding in my freezer for almost a month!  These came out super cute as well:

Now that we've finally gotten through Christmas here, maybe it'll be time to start on Valentines Day.  Stay posted :)

Manly Stamping

The day before yesterday, Stampin Up! started showing a whole new kit that I find kind of hysterical:

It's called, "Dude! You're Welcome" and I think it's sort of awesome and sort of hilarious.  Go on over to my shop and check it out...  There's even a tutorial to watch.

Let it snow!

Here are a few shots of some fabulous flakes I made with the snow flurry die.  I had to borrow this from my friend, Nicole, as I somehow missed it in the fall/winter catalog.  SO SAD!

But look how cute they are!  Let this be a lesson to all: Make sure you get your product in a timely fashion!!!

Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to find the UPS man on my porch with a snappy little brown box!  I hurried the kids to bed and made this cute little card:

I'm thinking it's perfect for my mom for valentine's day.  Pool Party CS; Pool Party, Pretty in Pink and Rich Razzleberry inks; and Hearts a Flutter Framelits and Stamps

Not too froufrou and easy as pie! And since it's almost Sale-a-bration, I got some preview goodies that I don't think I can show yet.  But I'll whip up some goodies maybe this weekend and post the finished product :)

Happy Stamping

Christmas Break...down

So it would appear that the Christmas holiday got the best of me.  The husband was sick. the kids were sick.  and then the unthinkable... I was sick.  Craftiness fell by the way side as I shoved my BigShot over to make room for the cool mist humidifier and slept in my craft room.

But now everyone is well enough to return to work and school and so I have a free moment to post up a quick little card set I made from my Perfectly Preserved framelit and stamp set:

I think I will package them up with some of that same raspberry ribbon and make them into part of my teacher appreciation gift for the spring.

I'm starting to think about Valentine's day and I just put in an order for some supplies to have a little Valentine Card Party here at my humble (and hopefully cleaner by then) abode.  Once I get my delivery and make up my projects, I'll post them up here and maybe put a few in my etsy shop.

Craft on!
